Controlling the interview : believe it or not, you can have a hand in influencing the questions you are asked. The interviewer is consciously trying to maintain a conversational thread. This is why most follow-up questions take a clue from what you have just said. So, in your answer, subtly suggest the next topic. Say 'of course, the new thing that's happening is...' or 'when we tried this recently, we found....'. the interviewer is almost bound to follow your lead here, and ask a question that lets you develop one of your key messages.
